This portrait was created for a young aspiring actress from the UK, with the aim of producing a natural and authentic image for her portfolio.

The shoot focused on a simple beauty look with subtle makeup, allowing her natural features and expression to remain the focus.

For this image, Alan used a Hasselblad H4D with a simple two-light setup. A 120 × 60 softbox provided the main light for the face and catchlight in the eyes, while a second light with a Fresnel attachment created a subtle glow behind the subject, helping to separate her from the background.
